Gourmet Cheese Platter

Gourmet cheese platters add a great look and flavor to any party. There are no rules to which flavors you can combine and the possibilities are endless. Here's what we suggest:

  • 2 hard cheeses, 1 soft cheese
  • Spiced nuts
  • 2 different types of crackers or bread
  • A cured meat of some sort 
  • A jam or relish
  • At least one kind of fruit
  • La Cebolla Roja Pickled Red Onions
Arrange your platter by spreading out the cheeses and filling in the gaps with all the accompanying flavors listed above. Play with the different colors and textures. Try pre-cutting harder cheeses into small bite sized pieces. Remember, there are no rules, so have fun and enjoy impressing all your friends and family.  

The Onion Burger

You'd think the burger has been reinvented enough times that there was nothing left to add...until now. Not only does La Cebolla Roja Pickled Red
Onions add flavor, they add an amazing color.

  • 6 oz. organic grass fed hamburg, shaped and ready to grill 
  • Buttered and toasted hamburger bun
  • Select condiments
  • La Cebolla Roja Pickled Red Onions

Grill burger on one side for 6 minutes. Flip, and continue grilling for an additional 4 minutes for a medium pink center. Add desired condiments and enjoy.

Deviled Eggs

This crowd pleaser has always been a hit and now offers more flavor to another classic dish. 

(Per 3 eggs)

  • Organic, free-range eggs.
  • 1 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. 1Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Paprika
  • La Cebolla Roja Pickled Red Onions & a dash of it's juice. 

Start by boiling your eggs for 8 minutes. When done cooking, water and ice bath them to stop the cooking process and prevent any cracking. Allow to reach room temperature for best ability to remove the shell. Tap and lightly roll the egg to remove the shell more easily. Slice eggs vertically and place yolk in separate bowl. Combine yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, paprika, and splash of juice from La Cebolla Roja Pickled Red Onions' jar. Mix with a fork, breaking up any large chunks. Plate and fill the eggs with yolk mixture. Dice pickled red onions and sprinkle on top off deviled eggs as a garnish.
